Style Guide

A style guide documents visual and verbal rules and recurring patterns for a brand or interface.

A style guide turns brand and interface principles into clear, reusable rules for consistent application across teams and touchpoints. It typically covers areas such as typography, color, imagery, tone of voice, and recurring UI patterns. Its value increases when these rules are supported by governed design tokens, accessible components, clear documentation, and regular maintenance. The concept is closely related to Design System and Design Token.
