FAQ - Your Questions Clarified

What kinds of projects can you support me with?

We don't want to sound arrogant, but we can build essentially anything: from websites and web applications through blogs to extensive platforms or internal dashboards — entirely to your requirements. We also help you automate business processes through dynamic forms and databases without programming, digitizing and streamlining your work. What many people don't realise: low-code has a long development history behind it. Over some 15 years, no-code applications have advanced so far that we can now cover around 99% of common web development requirements — using an 80:20 approach of no-code plus targeted programming (what we call low-coding).

How quickly can I get a project done with you?

The timeline depends on your individual requirements. As a rule we can deliver first working results after just a few weeks. For urgent projects we start at short notice and coordinate every step closely to keep the project moving quickly and successfully.

How much does a typical project cost?

We can deliver an MVP in 2–4 weeks for roughly EUR 15,000 to 30,000, and we are confident you will be very happy with the result. For larger projects we are glad to put together an individual quote.

What advantages do low-code and no-code systems offer?

Low-code and no-code technologies make it possible to build applications considerably faster and more cost-efficiently than with traditional development. Changes or extensions can be implemented flexibly, so you can respond to new requirements more quickly. Maintenance and development costs also drop over the long term.

What is the difference between low-code and no-code?

No-code platforms are aimed primarily at users without coding knowledge and allow applications to be built by drag and drop. Low-code platforms additionally allow custom code to be embedded, making them more flexible for complex requirements. Both approaches shorten development times considerably.

Can the prototype become a finished product?

Yes, absolutely. Our prototypes are built so they can be developed step by step into a fully fledged product. The transition from prototype to final build is seamless — you never have to start over.

Which tools does Klarkode use for prototyping?

We rely on proven tools such as Figma for UI/UX design and Webflow for functional, interactive prototypes. Depending on requirements we also use Bubble or other no-code platforms to represent more complex functionality already in the prototype.

How does collaboration work during the prototyping process?

We work closely with you in short iteration cycles. You receive interim versions regularly to test and give feedback on. That way we make sure the prototype matches your expectations exactly — with no nasty surprises at the end.

How much does a prototype cost?

Costs depend on the scope and complexity of the prototype. Simple clickable prototypes start at around EUR 3,000, more extensive functional prototypes at around EUR 8,000. Get in touch for an individual quote.

What is the difference between an interactive and a static prototype?

A static prototype shows the design as screens with no interaction — useful for early visual alignment. An interactive prototype simulates real user interactions such as clicks, navigation and animations. That lets you test the user experience realistically and gather valuable feedback.

Why should I build a prototype before development?

A prototype helps you avoid costly mistakes. You can test and validate your concept with real users before investing in full development. That saves time and budget, and you launch with a product that actually works.

What exactly is a prototype?

A prototype is a functional early version of your product that you can handle, navigate and test. It simulates the final experience without requiring full development — ideal for validating ideas, gathering feedback and convincing investors.

Can Klarkode help with branding and visual design too?

Yes, we support you in developing or evolving your visual identity. From logo concepts through colour systems to a complete design system, we make sure your digital product appears on-brand and consistent.

Can third-party tools and APIs be integrated?

Yes, we integrate a wide range of third-party services and APIs to extend your product's functionality — from CRM systems and marketing tools through to payment providers and custom interfaces.

What happens after my digital product launches?

After launch we provide support and training so you can manage your product independently. Beyond that we are available for ongoing maintenance, optimization and the strategic further development of your product.

How does Klarkode ensure the quality of my digital product?

We run comprehensive tests across different devices and browsers to ensure consistent performance and functionality. That includes functional testing, performance checks, accessibility reviews and a final QA pass before launch.

How does Klarkode make sure my product is scalable?

We build on a scalable architecture from the outset. That means modular structures, clean code and well-considered CMS setups, so you can extend, adapt and optimize later without rebuilding everything.

How quickly can my digital product go live?

Thanks to our efficient processes and proven tools we can deliver quickly. An MVP is usually achievable within 2–4 weeks. Larger projects we plan together with you, defining clear milestones for a swift launch.

How much does a digital product cost?

AEO suits any company that wants to grow organically and stay visible in the new era of AI search. B2B companies, SaaS providers and brands with products or services that need explaining benefit most, since AI search engines are often used for complex questions.

Does Klarkode help with schema markup for AEO?

Yes, we support you with implementing and optimizing schema markup from start to finish. That includes recommending which schema types make sense on which pages, creating the markup and handling the technical implementation. In Webflow we can even build schema into CMS templates, so it is generated automatically for new blog articles or pages.

How is the success of AEO measured?

We use specialised AI search monitoring tools to track how often and in what context your brand appears in answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and other AI tools. Monthly reports show how your visibility, citations and brand mentions develop over time.

How does Klarkode help with AEO implementation?

We offer AEO as an end-to-end service: technical audits and AI search monitoring, content audits and schema markup, through to developing and implementing a tailored AEO strategy. Our team of strategists, content writers and Webflow developers supports you from the first audit to monthly reporting.

What is the difference between AEO and SEO?

SEO optimizes content for classic search engines like Google so your website ranks as high as possible in the results. AEO goes a step further and optimizes content so that AI search engines cite it as a source. The two complement each other — a strong SEO foundation is often the basis for good AEO results as well.

What is AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)?

AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization and describes optimizing content for AI-driven search engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude. The goal is for your brand to be cited and recommended in the answers these tools give — where more and more people now look for information.

How long does it take to build a prototype?

Depending on complexity and scope, building a prototype usually takes 1–3 weeks. We work in short, focused cycles and get you a testable result quickly.

Does Webflow Enterprise support SSO and localization?

Yes. Webflow Enterprise supports SSO, advanced publishing workflows and localization at scale. We run these features in several enterprise projects, including multilingual setups covering more than 20 markets.

How does a migration to Webflow Enterprise work?

We start with a migration audit and a 301 redirect map. CMS structure, content migration and QA follow. The cutover happens on a defined date. From our experience this keeps rankings and running campaigns intact.

What does Webflow Enterprise cost?

Webflow Enterprise is licensed individually and depends on traffic, localization and security requirements. We calculate project cost in work packages with person days. After an initial call you receive an offer with clearly separated work packages.

When is Webflow Enterprise worth it?

Webflow Enterprise pays off from several markets or languages onwards, with high demands on security and publishing workflows, or with large content teams. One example from our work: for IONITY we run a platform covering 24 markets and multiple languages.

What is a Webflow Enterprise agency?

A Webflow Enterprise agency is a Webflow-certified partner that supports companies with strategy, design, development, migration and ongoing operations on Webflow Enterprise. Klarkode is Germany's first Webflow Premium Enterprise Partner agency, with a direct line to Webflow.

What does Webflow Premium Enterprise Partner mean?

The partner status is awarded by Webflow and requires proven enterprise projects and certified developers. Klarkode was the first agency in Germany with this status.

Why Webflow instead of WordPress?

Webflow needs no plugins, no updates and no separate hosting management. Security, performance and scaling are handled by the platform. See the direct comparison in our guide Webflow vs. WordPress.

Webflow agency or freelancer?

For smaller projects a freelancer can be enough. For company websites, availability, specialization within the team and cover in case of absence speak for an agency. You can find a detailed comparison in our guide on agency or freelancer.

What does a Webflow agency cost?

The price depends on the scope. We quote in person days and daily rates and structure projects into work packages. After an initial call you receive an offer with clearly separated work packages. Smaller projects start in the low five-figure range, enterprise platforms above that.

What does a Webflow agency do?

A Webflow agency plans, designs and develops websites on the Webflow platform. This covers design implementation, CMS setup, migration from other systems and ongoing maintenance. Unlike a website builder, the result is an individually developed website without template limits.

What does the integration cost?

It depends on scope, connected processes, and operating model. After scoping, you'll receive a transparent fixed-price quote including assumptions and a clearly defined scope of work. The initial consultation is free and non-binding.

How long does implementation take?

An initial production-ready workflow is typically live within 3 to 5 weeks — depending on scope, design system, and approval processes. You'll receive the exact timeline after the scoping call.

Do we retain control over quality and approvals?

Completely. Claude creates drafts within your guardrails; nothing is published until you approve it. You define the tone of voice, permitted building blocks, and the review process.

Does this replace our marketing team or agency?

No. Claude takes routine production off your team's plate so they can focus on strategy, creative work, and quality. External partners remain in place for anything that requires real expertise — just without the wait for standard pages.

Does Claude really create pages in our brand?

Yes. Claude is connected to your Webflow design system, components, and style guide. This means drafts are created within your brand guidelines instead of generically — your team curates and approves.

Is the solution GDPR-compliant?

Yes. We set up the integration with EU data processing, a data processing agreement (DPA), and documented data flows. On request, we provide the documentation for your privacy and legal department.

Is our content used for AI training?

No. In the configuration we set up, your content and inputs are not used to train models. This is secured through Anthropic's enterprise terms and the data processing agreement, and documented for your compliance needs.

Is the AEO Playbook free?

Yes. Fill out the form and get instant access to the playbook.

Who developed it?

Klarkode, an agency specializing in digital strategy and Webflow development, in collaboration with Webflow. The framework combines market research with documented real-world case studies from actual implementations.

What will I find in it?

The AEO Maturity Model, AEO market statistics, actionable measures organized by maturity level, and case studies from companies in the DACH market.

Who is it intended for?

For marketing, SEO, and leadership teams who already know the digital landscape and want to understand how to adapt their strategy to AI-based search.

What is the AEO Playbook?

It's a framework structured around 4 pillars and 5 maturity levels, developed by Klarkode in partnership with Webflow to help brands in the DACH market optimize their visibility in answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

Is Webflow maintenance worthwhile even without ongoing development?

Yes, absolutely. Even without active development projects, your website benefits from regular care: Webflow regularly releases platform updates, content needs to be kept current, performance checks safeguard your load times, and small bugs can easily go unnoticed without a maintenance plan. With a maintenance package, your website stays in top shape at all times.

How does communication and task management work?

Depending on your package, communication happens via request form (Starter), through our ticket board (Business & Growth), or directly via a Teams or Slack channel (Growth). You always have a transparent overview of the status of your requests – no back and forth, no chasing needed.

What types of tasks can I request through the maintenance package?

Through your support package, you can request all kinds of tasks: text changes, new sections or subpages, bug fixes, CMS adjustments, performance optimizations, form updates, SEO tweaks, new animations, and much more. Anything that improves your Webflow website is fair game.

What happens if I don’t use my full monthly hour budget?

Unused hours do not roll over to the following month. We therefore recommend collecting your requests early and submitting them in order of priority. If you consistently find yourself using too many or too few hours, we’ll help you find the right package.

Can I change or cancel my support package at any time?

The Starter package runs on a monthly basis and can be adjusted flexibly. The Business and Growth packages are designed for 12-month engagements, as this allows us to collaborate most effectively and deliver lasting results. Feel free to reach out if your requirements change.

How quickly are change requests implemented?

It depends on your chosen package. In the Starter package, the average turnaround time is 5 business days. With the Business package, we deliver in around 48 hours, and with the Growth package in as little as 24 hours. The Growth package also comes with a guaranteed response time of 12 hours.

How does maintenance differ from a new Webflow project?

With a new project, we build your website from scratch. Maintenance, on the other hand, means we continuously look after your existing Webflow website – applying updates, keeping content fresh, adding new sections, and resolving technical issues. It’s all about keeping your website at a consistently high standard over time.

What is included in a Webflow maintenance package?

Our maintenance packages include regular content and design updates, bug fixes, performance optimizations, Webflow version updates, and monitoring your website for errors and downtime. Depending on your chosen package, you also get access to our ticket board, a dedicated project manager, and prioritized turnaround times.
