Staging Environment
A staging environment mirrors production as closely as practical so changes can be tested before release.
A staging environment provides a production-like space for validating changes before they go live. It should reflect the live setup closely enough to reveal issues with functionality, integrations, performance, or deployment workflows without affecting real users. A reliable setup also considers security, scalability, observability, and a tested recovery path. The concept is closely related to Deployment and Page Branching.
