Real User Monitoring

Real user monitoring captures performance and error data from actual visits across real devices and network conditions.

Real User Monitoring shows how a website performs for actual users across different devices, browsers, locations, and network conditions. It can reveal loading issues, interaction delays, and technical errors that controlled lab tests may not capture. The most useful performance analysis combines these field measurements with repeatable lab tests and clearly defined performance targets. The concept is closely related to Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse.
