As part of its digital publishing strategy, the SPIEGEL Group cooperates with companies such as financial advisor MLP to offer expert knowledge on special interest topics.
One of the important prerequisites of this cooperation is to present the partner's content in an editorial environment that is familiar to SPIEGEL readers, but at the same time reveals MLP's authorship as a credible provider of financial advice.
Redesign & Migration
Re-design of Univatio landing pages to adapt to the MLP CI and migrate to the SPIEGEL domain in Webflow to ensure convenient CMS maintenance.

Pixel-perfect development
Customer-specific development of the most important components of the SPIEGEL website, such as the navigation bar with slider, footer and sidebar, and optimization for almost all browsers (including Internet Explorer) and screen sizes.

Usercentrics integration
Custom design and embedding from Usercentrics to verify consents to ensure user data is protected while providing maximum transparency.

As a first step, we migrated the content from univatio.de to the WebFlow mirror domain. This was followed by a brand-loyal redesign in which all content components of the SPIEGEL landing page, including the navigation bar and header module, were adapted to MLP's specific appearance. This process required a custom code replica of the SPIEGEL CI within Webflow.
The entire redesign and implementation was carried out in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, by integrating Usercentrics, and with regard to the fact that future content maintenance should be easy for the company's employees.
